Technology came as one of the most powerful resources to the human life evolution, it enriches not only the medical, economical or security power, but as well the educational field. Technology has the ability to enhance relationships between teachers and students even in a remote environment, when we addressed to the rile of this tool to classrooms and mostly to the English teaching, it can be shown that its main purpose is to change how teachers and students gather, access, analyze, present, and transmit information. There are hundreds of benefits that technology carries to the teaching/learning process of English, but they can be summarized as: Technology is motivating and stimulating for students, it makes distance learning more accessible than ever, and students can learn useful life skills through technology.
How technology is a motivating and stimulating tool for students, as we were able to observe in the face of the changes that covid-19 forced us to make, showed us that technology makes students feel much more motivated, using devices with which they can practice a language through features such as voice recognition and interactive multimedia exercises. As the society evolves, new generations like entertainment tools and change, so for students, using a smartphone or any digital device seems more attractive than a textbook. Technology transforms students from a boring teaching to a much more interesting and participative teaching since innovation calls the attention of anyone.

can adapt your approach to different needs, when virtuality arrives, technology
becomes the most useful and powerful teaching/learning resource. The changes
that covid-19 has made distance learning more accessible than ever.
Without the wonders of the Internet, people would not be able to access any type of information the moment they think of it. Today, distance learning is one of the most popular learning methods. Virtual lessons are slowly replacing traditional lectures. Students can organize their time in a way that works for them since they do not have to waste time on long trips and can easily obtain the knowledge that interests them.
Then, by making use of technology, students can learn useful life skills through technology such as programming, apart from being innovative, requires mastery of another language, nowadays is an era of continuous development. In short, students can acquire the skills they will need to be successful in the future. Modern learning is about collaborating with others, solving complex problems, critical thinking, developing different forms of communication and leadership skills, and improving motivation and productivity.
In summary, it is more than noticeable that technology came as a helpful method that carries more than just one benefit to the teaching filed when working with a second language. The advantages such technology as a motivating and stimulating for students, the distance learning more accessible than ever, and students useful life skills through technology that it provides are just few contributions that can be assigned to the topic.
